Encouraging sustainable, responsible production

Brandia is committed to develop its production activity with respect for the environment, and with the sustainability of our resources in mind.

Brandia's production activity aims to obtain maximum value from the 100 % virgin wood fibre, in the most efficient way possible, and under quality standards that satisfy the most demanding packaging markets.

Brandia meets the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certifications. Both are supranational organisations which foster measures to guarantee that all the forestry products we consume originate from responsibly managed forests and from legal, controlled logging.

Like all other consumers, we are increasingly aware of the pressure on our natural resources and we strive on a daily basis to obtain more functional products and with a lower carbon footprint in their production processes.

With the aim of reducing our energy dependence, energy consumption and environmental impact, we have had a natural gas cogeneration plant since 1999 . This commitment has enabled us to increase efficiency and competitiveness.

We are constantly implementing measures related to improve energy efficiency and we strictly manage our carbon footprint.

We monitor all our production processes with the triple aim of guaranteeing quality, optimising our response times and detecting any possible areas for improvement.

Brandia's facilities form part of a space with high environmental value, located close to a native forest and coexisting in perfect harmony with a spa hotel in a residential setting.

Quality in the production process

The chain of custody of forestry products guarantees their traceability from the forest to the consumer, ensuring that all the forestry products we consume originate from responsibly managed forests and from legal, controlled logging.
